Two recent photo essay’s “THE DRY HEART OF BRAZIL – O SERTÃO” and „PLAYLIFE“ are exposed prominently in Tbilisi. During the course of several years Dirk Gebhardt observed the life two different regions. The north-east of Brazil and the former Yugoslavian states: Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Kosovo. His main aim is to make life circumstances understandable. Why do we life as we do and what we have to hope from life. Is there already already an european identity in the balkans. How do the the former war opponents define nationality 15 years after the last war?
