back in the future with - Ann Lee Strange and Jürgen
The roaring twenties in 2011. Anne Lee and Jürgen as a couple of musicians in their home. The role play was part of the shooting for a new CD cover. Every thing on the shooting was fine except that the location was not bigger than 25 square meters.

10/30/1961 a historic day marks the fiftieth time.
50 years German Turkish labor recruitment. On 30 October 1961 entered into an agreement for the placement of workers. Since that day came, about 4 milion people from Turkey to Germany. Hayati Bektas lives since the early 1970s in Germany. In Turkey, he did his teacher training and was hired as one of the first native speaking teachers in Germany.
Hos Geldiniz, Hayati Bektas!
Largest German art forger is Jesus, or just a copy?
Yesterday at 13:45 left Beltracchi Wolfgang and his wife Helene, the Cologne Regional Court as free people. Both were sentenced to imprisonment. They have made faked pictures of Max Ernst, Max Pechstein and Frederic Leger and sold. Overall, they have earned at least 14 million euros. I figured it was time to make a homage to Weegee, a real fake. My client liked it very much.

Football with heart and soul - Sönke Wortmann
Inconspicuous, reserved and shy, appeared the director of "A summer fairy tale" for an interview. Hiding behind a hedge, he answered questions about football and Fortuna Cologne. The clear message to me was not a staged photo. He did not want to look into the camera. For a man who is as a director of films like "Das Superweib" and "Die Päpstin" at the center of media interest an amazing unpretentious attitude.

Pepe Danquart - Joschka and Mister Fischer a lesson in history.
Sometimes just the right chemistry. Today I was able to attend an interview between Pepe Danquart and Reinhard Lüke. It was incredibly instructive to know what moves people and get shut an insight into German history. Only by listening. I almost forgot to take photos. I just got the curve, here you see the result. Oh do not be surprised, I have a depression, therefore all black-looking.

Veteran of the 2nd World War
At 17, Christian Bloitzheim went into captivity. 4 years in Siberia have characterized the 87 years old man deeply. After 67 years of marriage, two children and three grandchildren, a career at Ford and a stroke which paralyzed him on one side. He calls the war years the most influenced his life. How many German men, he has not overcome this trauma to this day.
He is one of the last of this generation, whose memory will soon disappear.

Women's football World Cup - 60 Photographers in a row.
Sometimes I would rather become a pianist in a brothel, as a photographer. The German Football Federation had promised us a portrait photo session, with the women's national football team. They had just forgotten to mention that about 60 other photographers were also present. Somehow we have still managed to make portraits, but I will not tell how. As a pianist in the brothel is the life I think calmer and less embarrassing.
Peter Wawerzinek - missing mother
I meet him at a beautiful afternoon, this very intense man. He was left behind by his mother in the GDR as a small child. Than he grew up in orphanates in the GDR with parents by adoption. Some how he was a writer, with more or less sucsess. Stoped writing at 2001 and by the way he got the adress of his "missing mother" by the former minister of defense Mr. Sharping.
His book about his personal relationship with his nonmother "Rabenliebe" got him the Ingeborg-Bachmann-Award 2010. A must to read but if you ever get the chance to meet him DON'T MISS IT.

Giants of the tenderness - Paulus Vennebusch
Yesterday I had an incredibly relaxed portrait session with the author and TV writer Paul Vennebusch. His most recent book, "Giants of Endearment"about the fictitious pop band "Papi's" was the reason for the photos. Paul has learned in any case a lot from, Oliver Pocher, Ingolf Lück and Co.. He was witty, spontaneous, and he has directed essentially himself.
We have photographed in the restaurant play area. The interior is not easy to beat, green wallpaper, red chairs and lots of lascivious pictures.
I've uploaded six images when you click on them, they will be enlarged.
